(Dawlat) of Al Bashair camels won Al Houl Category main round at the end of the general Racing competitions of the Royal Camel Corps

Under the auspices of Eng. Hamad bin Sulaiman Al-Shabibi, and in the presence of Hamid bin Ali Al-Zaraei, Director General of the Royal Camel Corps and a large crowd of camel racing fans, the public race organized by the Royal Camel Corps within the competitions of the annual festival of civil camel races for the 2019/2020 season was concluded. The race included four rounds; two rounds for Thanaia Abkar category for a distance of 8 km and two rounds for Al Houl category for a distance of 8 km, the results were as follows As for the first round, Tasrih of the Royal Camel Corps, trainened by Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Wahaibi, won the dagger of the first round.Bashair of Al Bashair camels, trained Obaid bin Mohammed Al-Wahaibi, won the second place. Miznah of the Royal Camel Corps trained by Hamad bin Mohammad Al- Wahaibi, won the third place. The fourth place was won by Al-Shaheeniyyah of the Royal Camel Corps, trained by Sultan bin Hamoud Al-Juhafi. Nahifah of the Royal Camel Crops, trained by Saif bin Abdullah Al-Habsi won the fifth place.As for the second round, the car of the round was won by Hamlolah, owned by Mohammed bin Saeed AlZaraei. Hamail, owned by Abdullah bin Hamad bin Twairish Al-Wahaibi, won the second place. The third place was won by Al Dhbiah, owned by Hamad bin Mohammad Al-Wahaibi.Al-Nazrah, owned by Humoud bin Hudoub bin Saeed Al-Omari, won the fourth place. The fifth place was won by Miasah, owned by Homoud bin Salim Al-Toqi.

As for the third round, Dawlat of Al Bashair camels, trained by Jassim bin Al Qubaili Al Muharbi, won the dagger of the round. The second place was won by Shaza, owned by Bitti bin Nasser Al Maliki. Damaa of the Royal Camel Corps, trained by Saif bin Abdullah Al Habsi, won the third place. The fourth place was won by Abath of the Al Bashair, trained by Obaid bin Mohammed Al-Wahaibi. Jubarah of the Royal Camel Corps,trained by Badr bin Al Hamdi Al Derei, won the fifth place.As for the fourth round, Al Obour, owned by Homoud bin Sobaih AlWahaibi, won the first place. Taqdir, woned by Nasser bin Sulaiman AlKhaldi, won the second place. The third place was won by Baghdad, woned by Said bin Humid Al Jahafi.Al Rahiah, owned by Hamad bin Mohammad Al-Wahaibi. The fifth place was won by Asiad, owned by Issa bin Salem Al Darai.

Marasim, owned by Amer bin Salem Al Zeraei, won the fourth place.Hamloula, owned by Walid bin Hashil Al-Jahoury, won the fifth place.Al-Arda round (2 km) for Al Houl.

Iftitah, owned by Amer bin Salem Al Zeraei, won the first place followed by Bahjah, owned by Walid bin Hashil Al Jahoury, in the second place. The third place was won by Samha, owned by Salem bin Saed Al-Omari. The fourth place was won by Infeal, owned by Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaradi. AlShaheenia, owned by Walid bin Hashil Al-Jahoury, won the fifth place.

Awarding
At the end of the race, Eng. Hamad bin Sulaiman Al-Shabibi, the sponsor of the race, handed over the car keys and daggers to the owners of the winning camels.The ceremony included many interesting performances. The poet Salem bin Muhammad Al Kasbi presented a poem for His Majesty.Camel dancing show was also presented, the Royal Camel Corps Music Band performed several musical performances and a number of camel riders performed camel riding skills.Great Participation
Hamid bin Ali Al-Zaraei, Director General of the Royal Camel Corps said “The year witnessed a great participation of camel owners from various governorates of the Sultanate.Everyone is satisfied with the organization and the prizes presented during this race and the past races”.
Sultan bin Hamoud Al-Jahhafi, camel trainer of the Royal Camel Corps, said “Praise be to God, the Royal Camel Corps won the dagger for the Thanaia Abkar category at the end of the general race. It is an achievement of the Royal Camel Corps and we are proud of this prize looking forward to winning the cup”.He added “This race witnessed great competition and a great challenge from the participants.We congratulate the Royal Camel Corps on joining a number of camels that were chosen in the Taserah races”.
Hamid bin Mohammed Al-Jahafi, Al-Bashair Camel trainer, said “The participation was distinctive and we were able to win the race car as well as a number of prizes. We aspire to win the cup. I dedicate this win to His Highness Sayyid Asad bin Tariq Al Said”.
